Launched in 2011, the ICAO/FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme is a collaboration between the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).
ICAO and FIATA have teamed up to deliver industry specific training for staff of freight forwarders, shippers and packers (training categories 1 through 5). Utilizing, ICAO's vast technical knowledge and regulatory experience, in conjunction with FIATA's global reach in vocational training.
Initial and recurrent courses are offered through a network of accredited ICAO/FIATA Training Centres, and successful completion is recognised by the issuance of a universally accepted ICAO/FIATA Certificate.
