As previously indicated, this year’s RAME Field Meeting will be held in Doha, Qatar from June 5th to 7th, 2011 at the Sharq Village and Spa Hotel. The Field Meeting will be attended by high ranking Qatar Government Officials and FIATA President Jean-Claude Delen amongst other FIATA representatives. Chaired by the acting RAME Chairman Issa Baluch, this event includes presentations from numerous industry members and allows for networking opportunities afterwards. Immediately following the RAP Meeting, representatives of the forwarding industry will gather at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok from 23 to 24 June 2011. Those in attendance will include the UNESCAP Regional Forum of Freight Forwarders, Multimodal Transport Operators and Logistics Service Providers, the UNESCAP Meeting of Chief Executives of National Associations of Freight Forwarders and Multimodal Transport Operators and Logistics Service Providers.
