We are excited to unveil to you our newly designed FIATA Logistics Academy site. We have been working intensively over the past several months to create a website that features a modern homepage design, clean layout of page content, and a consistent site-wide navigation system. It is accessible through a wide range of web browsers and devices, including mobiles and tablets, and has been designed to meet all relevant accessibility standards. A new beginning always brings excitement and joy.” These were the words Verena Schaer, manager of the FIATA Logistics Academy, used to present the new website to the Chairman, Mr Issa Baluch and the mentors and members of the Academy in Zurich.
The launch of the FIATA Logistics Academy (FLA) website is the next step for FLA to become “One Knowledge Source for Global Logistics” as it ambitiously stipulates in its broad vision. “This website was designed with you, the freight logistics community and other trade partners, in mind. Our goal was to develop a user friendly site that will provide you with the information you need when technical and soft skills training products and educational materials come into play,” said the Chairman of the FLA, Mr Issa Baluch, who is also a former President and a well-known personality at international level.
The website includes information relevant to the FLA, “Who we are, Vision and Mission, Chairman’s welcome, Talent Connect, E-learning, Cooperation, Mentorship and Resources” as well as up-to-date news right at users’ fingertips. The FLA will be releasing information on educational initiatives and FLA news as it becomes available. The FLA has an important role in development of educational opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics, and the new website has been designed to best reflect these benefits for FIATA Members.
Our hope at FIATA is that this website will be a rich tool for the user. Whether this is on first encounter with the FLA or a long-time running experience, the FIATA Logistics Academy hope that all enjoy browsing through its new site!
